Memories

I am following Angela's lead with this one.
Here are the rules:
1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you & I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog & see how many people leave a memory about you.
It should be funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you are playing the game & I'll come to your blog & leave one about you (or if you don't have a blog I will e-mail you my memory!)  I am following Angela, it looked like fun, I hope you'll play along!

I have lots with you. The funniest I can think of was when we went to DI with My MIL Lynn and we crammed your Book shelf into my little car. we were all laughing sooooo hard. you made it fit and we did. oh that was funny.

I also remember going to family dinners and you were always crocheting. I love that about you. Your hands are always busy!

I remember the first time you came to my apartment after James and I were engaged and he made fun of me because I was soooooo nervous. He told me that you had a ford taurus and I tried to be more specific by adding that it was an extended cab. He laughed at me for that for a while. I remember though that you were so sweet. I remember too when I was pregnant that you helped me finish a project for my art class. We were running from one place to the next and you were so helpful and nice about helping me so we could finally do something more fun. I felt so bad but I loved that you were so willing to help me out. You're so good at that!!!

man, so many to remember. I have been trying to think of a good memory. I think of laughing when I think of memories. Like the time a guy ran into our fence during our garage sale and we laughed so hard we couldn't talk to him. ohhh, that was funny. or the time we got pulled over by the police man looking for a spot for the parade. I do love to think of the many family vacations together, disneyland and CA to visit James and Erin, St. George, CA with Julianne and Austin-up that darn Mountain, AGAIN!, so many fun things. You are just so stinking fun and it is so fun to laugh so hard.

I have so many great memories when we were younger. I remember making suckers at Thanksgiving and other fun projects. We always loved hanging out with the Hoopes clan! I remember always laughing and having a good time. I remember going on the trip to Washington together. You guys crammed so many kids in the van and the men drove another car. We were all crazy and hyper and you and my mom just seemed relaxed and happy because you were together. I love that you two enjoy being together so much! Whenever I think of you I think of laughing. You are just such a funny person. You make life interesting! I'm so glad there are people like you in this world!!

Okay, mom I came up with a memory! I remember when we were leaving with Jen and Dave to go to California. We were going to James' army graduation if I remember right. Well, we stopped and got gas I think and then we headed out. Well all of a sudden Jen and Dave are driving a little quick and they are driving into a neighborhood. Now we weren't real familar with their neighborhood yet and thought they had forgotten something at home. So we are trying to follow them and they are driving faster and we are trying to keep up with them and making the turns so we don't lose them when we see them turn into the house and realize, IT WASN'T THEM! Some how we had started following a gray van back to their home, thinking it was Jen and Dave. We laughed and laughed and laughed about that one. It was good! You are wonderful mom, you are always good to laugh with! Love you mom.
